Dhanuka AGRITECH launches new products for corn and tomato crops

Dhanuka AGRITECH Ltd. is one of the major agrochemical companies in India. Recently, the company has launched two new products that meet the 9 (3) registration requirements, which means that both products are debut in India. One product is Cornex, a herbicide mainly used for weed management of corn crops, and the other is zanet, a fungicide mainly used to protect tomato crops from fungi and microorganisms.

These two products have been listed in Maharashtra and will soon be promoted to different regions of the country.

Cornex adopts Japanese technology, is jointly developed by dhanuka AGRITECH and Japanese Nissan Chemical, and is first launched by dhanuka AGRITECH in India. This is a broad-spectrum, selective and inhaling post seedling herbicide. It is a one-time solution to help farmers control the main broad-leaved weeds, main narrow-leaved weeds and Cyperus rotundus in corn crops. The dual role model of Cornex will help corn growers control the main weeds in their crops.

Zanet was developed by dhanuka AGRITECH through technical cooperation with two Japanese companies Hokko Chemical Trade Co. Ltd and Nippon soda Co. Ltd. and was first launched in India by dhanuka AGRITECH. Zanet is a new and unique fungicide and bactericide mixture, which can effectively control the bacterial leaf spot, powdery mildew and other important diseases of tomato crops mainly caused by fungi and microorganisms.

Rahul dhanuka, chief operating officer of dhanuka AGRITECH, pointed out: “the value of crops lost in India due to weeds, fungi and microorganisms is up to 10billion rupees every year. Cornex and zanet help reduce crop losses and increase production. They are good helpers for corn and tomato growers. The use of these two products is very simple and will certainly be welcomed by farmers.”

Introducing the advantages of Cornex and zanet, he said: “Cornex is a premix, which will provide the best management for the main weeds in the corn crop after spraying. Tomato growers can not obtain satisfactory results by using fungicides and bactericides alone against tomato crop disease infection. Zanet’s one-time solution will play a powerful role and help to save labor costs.”

India’s major corn growing states include Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

Tomato growing areas in India include Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, transrangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Haryana.

Dhanuka cooperates with agrochemical companies in the United States, Japan and Europe, and currently provides 80 products. The company plans to launch another four products in the next two months, including one that meets the 9 (3) registration requirements and three that meet the “me too” registration requirements.
