Eurasian Economic Union grain production is expected to decline by 1.2% in 2021

According to the report issued by the Department of agricultural and industrial policies of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the total grain output of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2021 is predicted to be 162.6 million tons, 1.2% less than that in 2020. Among them, Russia’s grain output dropped from 133.5 million tons to 131 million tons; Armenians increased from 246100 tons to 265400 tons; Kazakhstan increased from 2010 million tons to 20.6 million tons; Food production in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan was the same as last year.
