From January to October, Russia’s agricultural output value decreased by nearly 3% year-on-year

In terms of unit yield, the unit yield of grain decreased by 6.3% to 2.9 tons / ha year-on-year, the unit yield of sunflower seeds increased by 0.8% to 1.6 tons / ha, and the unit yield of sugar beet increased by 12.6% to 40.9 tons / ha.

The output of animal husbandry in Russia also showed a downward trend. By the end of October, there were 18.3 million cattle on hand, a year-on-year decrease of 1.9%, of which the number of dairy cows decreased by 1.9% to 7.9 million; The number of pigs on hand increased by 1.7% to 27.2 million. From January to October, Russia’s milk production decreased by 0.1% to 27.5 million tons; In October, the milk production was the same as that of last year, 2.6 million tons, down 7.4% month on month. Over the same period, egg production decreased by 0.2% to 37.8 billion, and decreased by 0.1% to 3.7 billion in October, a month on month decrease of 1.5%.

The Russian Ministry of economic development predicts that due to the complex natural climate conditions this year, the growth rate of production in the agricultural field will slow down, and the annual growth rate is expected to be only 1%.
