The sown area of soybean and corn in Brazil may increase by 4-5% in the coming year

Jim Collins, CEO of corteva group, an American pesticide and seed producer, pointed out that the sown area of corn and soybean in Brazil may increase by 4-5% in 2022 because of strong demand. He said that the sown area of corn and soybean in the United States may also increase slightly.

Corteva Group expects that the growth trend of global organic seed sales will continue until 2022, in which the United States, Latin America and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) will be the main driving forces.

Corteva group has begun to conduct freight and logistics cost analysis. Collins said that although cost inflation continues to face challenges, as local economies recover from the impact related to the pandemic, global demand will eventually grow in 2022 and beyond.
