China exported about 13,000 tons of vegetables and fruits to Russia’s Amur region in six months

China exported about 13,000 tons of vegetables and fruits to the Amur region from June to November 2022, the Russian Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Service said in a news release.

During this period, China exported about 10,000 tons of vegetable products to Amur Region, the most of which were fresh carrots (2,700 tons) and onions (2,300 tons), the release said.

In addition, China exported about 3,000 tons of fruits to Primorsky Territory, the most of which were watermelons (more than 355 tons), grapes (more than 96 tons) and melons (about 22 tons).

According to the Russian Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Service, from June to November 2022, China exported apples (1,100 tons), pears (383 tons), peaches (208 tons), plums (11 tons), oranges (91 tons), grapefruit (178 tons), oranges (63 tons) and lemons (52 tons) to the Amur Region for the first time after the lifting of the three-year restriction.
