EU reduces access quotas for Brazilian agricultural products

Local media reported that the EU reduced the access quota for Brazilian agricultural products due to the UK’s exit from the EU. Brazil reached a bilateral agreement with the European Union in which Brazilian agricultural products will have access to the EU market with lower tariffs within the agreed quotas. The new agreement includes reduced access quotas for Brazilian agricultural products such as sugar, chicken, beef, turkey, corn and juice. Currently, Brazil is negotiating with the United Kingdom for agricultural access quotas.
