In the first quarter of 2022, the import and export trade of Mexican agricultural products reached a new record

On May 17, the website of the Ministry of agriculture of Mexico reported that according to the data of the Central Bank of Mexico, the import and export trade of Mexican agricultural products in the first quarter of 2022 hit a new record. Among them, the export volume was US $12.807 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15.9%; The import volume was US $9.935 billion, a year-on-year increase of 21.2%; The trade surplus was US $2.872 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.73%. Mexico mainly exports agricultural products such as beer, avocado, tequila, strawberries, tomatoes and peppers, and mainly imports agricultural products such as corn, soybeans, pork, wheat, poultry and viscera.
