South Korea’s agri-food exports hit record high in first 11 months of this year

The South Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Food (Ministry of Agriculture and Food) stated on the 4th that the export value of agricultural food in the first 11 months of this year increased by 4% year-on-year to 8.08 billion US dollars, setting a record for the same period of time.

Specifically, the export of instant noodles increased by 14.5% year-on-year to US$696 million; the export of crude coffee increased by 6.7% year-on-year to US$304.1 million; the export of pears increased by 3.8% to about US$60 million; the export of rice processed food increased by 10.7% to US$60 million. $163.5 million.

Total agri-food exports are expected to hit a record high this year, as exports in the first 11 months of the year have surpassed $8 billion. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food has set an export target of US$9 billion this year, and will vigorously carry out marketing and promotion activities in 18 export markets including the United States, China, and Japan.
