Vietnam’s export of fruits and vegetables is still difficult

According to relevant media reports, Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable export is expected to face many difficulties in the third quarter of this year, and will not improve until the fourth quarter of this year. According to the Ministry of industry and trade, Asia is still the main export market of Vietnamese fruits and vegetables, accounting for more than 85% of the total export of fruits and vegetables. For European and American markets, according to the implementation of cptpp and Vietnam EU free trade agreement, the import tax rate of fruits and vegetable products from Vietnam is mostly reduced to 0%, which will bring new opportunities for Vietnam to open up the market for vegetables and fruits.
