Dutch Bucket planting system with self diligent water change. It works by bringing water, nutrients and air to the roots of the plants through the flow of water or nutrient solution to achieve rapid plant growth. Dutch bucket is not only suitable for hydroponic planting, but also for aerosol cultivation, with the advantages of water saving, energy saving and high yield. It is suitable for growing tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers and eggplants.

The Dutch buckets are individual containers typically made of plastic. Each bucket has a capacity of 32 liters (approximately 8.5 gallons) and features a reservoir at the bottom to hold the nutrient solution.

• Dutch Buckets are designed to be fed by drip emitters and plumbed to drain using a common 1.5″ PVC pipe, purchased locally.
• Siphon Elbows regulate safety reservoir of nutrient solution at bottom of bucket to 1″ deep. This feature prevents growing medium from drying out and causing water stress between irrigation cycles. Siphon pipe also prevents over accumulation of nutrient solution. Two siphon elbows are recommended per each bucket.
• You can use just about any type of growing media, including expanded clay pellets, perlite, and coconut coir.
